Venus & Ole’s is a captivating farm-to-tavern establishment recently launched by the dedicated Faith Ulwelling, creating a welcoming space for everyone to gather.
Nestled in the historic Ole's building in Maiden Rock, a local favorite since the 1900s, Faith artfully blends the charm of the past with a elevated approach to dining that honors our community's roots.
With a strong emphasis on farm-to-tavern fare, the menu features house-cut fries, hand-made pizza dough, and high-quality, locally sourced ingredients that enhance familiar flavors.

Mastermind Behind the Magic
Faith Ulwelling is the owner of Venus & Ole Tavern, where she brings her passion and expertise as head chef and menu developer, creating farm-to-table dishes. With culinary experience dating back to high school, she was also the founder, head chef, and part owner of Hop Dish & Vine in Stockholm, WI. Faith's dedication to community-centered dining has made Venus & Ole a local favorite.

Culinary Maestro
Chef Brian, based in Red Wing, Minnesota, is an accomplished baker and tastemaker known for his culinary creativity and passion for flavor. He uses local ingredients to craft both baked goods and savory dishes that highlight seasonal flavors with a unique twist. Chef Brian’s dedication to taste and innovation shines through in every dish he makes.

Artist & Hospitality Pro
Celeste Nelms is a seasoned visual artist with 45 years of experience, and a vibrant presence in the restaurant industry for over 32 years. Known as a drink slinger and merrymaker, Celeste brings creativity and energy to both the art world and the hospitality scene. Her unique blend of artistic vision and industry know-how has made her a beloved figure in both communities.
